Why we did this
We wanted to make it easy
We know how busy everyone is, and putting something like this together on your own is a lot of work. So Jon and I thought we would make it easy. One big event for the whole neighborhood, a simple way to clear out the things you do not need anymore, and a good excuse to get to know the people who live around you.
We have been selling homes in this valley for over 20 years. Everything you see here we paid for and put together ourselves, and it is free for every family taking part.
Before you go
A few things that make a community sale day go smoothly.
Bring small bills
Most sellers are neighbors, not stores. Ones, fives and tens go a long way. Some may take Venmo or Zelle, but do not count on it.
Come early for the good stuff
Doors open at 7:00 AM. The best furniture and tools tend to move in the first hour.
Park with courtesy
These are lived-in streets. Please do not block driveways, mailboxes or fire hydrants, and watch for kids and dogs.
Bring your own bags
Reusable bags and a couple of moving blankets in the trunk will save you a headache.
Measure first
If you are hunting furniture, know your doorway and cargo space before you fall in love with a hutch.
Look for our signs
Our signs are posted throughout the community to point you in the right direction, and maps are up at the neighborhood entrances.
